sea_u_onboard Posted January 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2005 I just starting clicking into the purchased items and thinking - well one mans trash is another mans treasure - then I hit on this item http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63763&item=6143872295 - he paid $61.00 for this? I don't quite understand - but maybe I'll pull out my old cards and send him and email. I think I can find a few casino chips and some old playing cards. smiggy Posted January 23, 2005 #11 Share Posted January 23, 2005 Okay, we can all laugh at the thought of our trash becoming someone's collectible. But read this thread.... shame on the seller and the buyer for trying to pull one over on the cruise line. Not to mention that the buyer could have purchased this item legitimately for less than this ebay auction. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=125684
derf5585 Posted January 23, 2005 #12 Share Posted January 23, 2005 Okay, we can all laugh at the thought of our trash becoming someone's collectible. How true. All the basball cards I messed up and thrown away. My dad owned a hotel, all the movie posters, all the old postcards. Who knows what we should save that will become collectable Maybe "fountain cards" will become collectors items because of the end of cruising.
