Anyone know the best way to get from the pier to this hotel and how much it is to get there?

We walked out from cruise port to the road and grabbed a yellow taxi for 80 pesos to the start of the Malecon where we wlaked along the Malecon until we got to PLA in the southside . Taxis in PV are metered in zones.....on our way back we paid 110 pesos from PLA back to the cruise ship.

Taxis in PV are NOT metered, but charge by zones. Make the price before you enter the cab. The yellowcab from the Hwy near the terminal will charge around Pesos 80.-. The white cabs at the terminal are more expensive, they charge per person.

Or take one of the blue/white citybuses marked Centro/Olas Altas and get off near Plaza Cardenas, which is just a short walk from Hotel Playa Los Arcos.

Just to be sure, this is Hotel Los Arcos.

The actual Los Arcos (Arches) are situated more south and can be reached by ship only.

To avoid confusion the correct name of the hotel is Los Arcos (The Arches).

It is situated just south of Malecon, which is a nice boulevard along the ocean. Filled with shops and restaurants and a lot of statues. Great place for a walk.

You could take a cab or bus as mentioned and get off at the north end of Malecon, walk south past the river and walk to Hotel Los Arcos.

Bus costs only 6,5 Pesos per person per ride.
