Does Bannister Island "Sell Out"?

We are visiting Belize Tuesday next week. We had read and ecotours had verified that we could book Bannister Island from the pier. I am getting a little nervous though as Coral Breezes has sold out and now the 10 am departure of eco tours is sold out. Has anyone every experienced a complete "sell out"? I was thinking it was a water taxi that just went back and forth all day but I am wondering if it makes limited runs? Thanks for any help!

I have read on here that there is no way to get to Bannister other then a tour.

That is true...no watertaxis to Bannister. You have to take a tour through your ship, or a tour company!
