YANKEE97 Posted January 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2005 Can anyone suggest an excursion? I have done the "swim with the sting rays" twice and loved it. Now, on to something else. Not much for shopping. Any suggestions?;)
Lynda S Posted January 24, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2005 We did an Eastern Island tour with a private tour guide (45.00 US in Dec), it was a wonderful tour - we really enjoyed it. I feel as though we got to know the island very well, saw lots of native flora and a few historic sights. If this might interest you, I found the guide at http://www.earthfoot.org/places/ky001.htm He was fabulous!
joni2001 Posted January 24, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2005 There are 8 of us scheduled to go on the Honeysuckle Beach ride. We all love horses, and I've always wanted to ride on the beach, so this should be fun. http://grandcaymancruiseexcursions.com/horsebackriding.htm
Red Dog Posted January 24, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2005 If you want a quick overview of downtown Georgetown you might try The Trolley Roger. It's a funky open air trolley pulled by a Jeep and it goes through downtown Georgetown and then South to Smith's Cove. The guides are pretty funny and we had a great time.
