FINS UP!! 2008 Posted March 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2010 We are sailing the Victory in Jan 2011, what side of the ship would give us a better view in the ports. It will be going to the southern caribbean. Any feedback will help.
cb at sea Posted March 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2010 The ships don't always dock in the same place or same direction every time...your best views will be from the open, pool deck, or above! When you're docked, you'll most likely be OFF the ship, anyway....don't worry about which side of the ship you book!

It is an awesome cruise/itinerary.
buddylover Posted March 11, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2010 We have always been on the starboard side, most all of our cruises we have been on the dock/port side, which we really liked. But you can never really be sure, it depends what ships are in port and which pier the ship is docked at....that can always change! Like posted above, you can always go to an open deck and take pix, or look and see, if you are not on the preferable side at a particular port.
