momrnc Posted March 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Has anyone stayed in a cabin with a window, I believe the agent said deck 6 on Carnival Legend? If so, what is your opinion. I prefer interior, no window, mid ship because of the rocking of the boat. Tell me how the boat movement and views are. Also, is there a small fridge? (We had one on Royal Caribbean, but this is first cruise on Carnival and nothing was mentioned.) Thanks so much.
HO HO Posted March 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Deck 6 is the Empress deck - and from the deck plan showing on the Carnival website, it is all suites and balcony cabins with a few interior cabins. It is pretty high up on the ship, so if you're concerned about the ship's motion, you may want a cabin on a lower deck.
TicTac#2 Posted March 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2010 If you have an ocean view (window) it would be located on the Rivera Deck (deck 1) the window is more for light than it is for viewing. You will not have a frige, but may have a mini-bar that you may be able to use to keep a few small thing cool. Most of the rooms on the Rivera deck are mid ships and the ride that low on the ship should be fine! Enjoy your cruise.
islandhoppin Posted March 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2010 We will be on Legend Sept.12 first time on this ship. I have booked a room on the Riviera deck, people we are going with wanted to have a window and that is the only floor with windows. My concern is that the floor above has the casino and the jazz club, does anyone know how th noise level will be for us. Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated. Thanks, Maryanne :p
