JEDIKNIGHT Posted March 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2010 Thinking about booking a May cruise on Summit. Getting a little worried about NORO because it's one thing if I or DW get it, but very worried about 22 month DD getting it, especially now that she plays in the kid's club. Yes, she/we can get NORO anywhere here on land, but it's better to get it while at home with hospitals/doctors and comforts of home vs confined to cabiin. (IMO) Has there been recent NORO on Summit? Rare Lois R Posted March 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2010 Hi, I sailed her in January without any issues and I am going back on her again in May:D:) I don't recall reading about any outbreaks since I got home back on Jan 23rd. We are now 1/2 way through March and I am thinking if there had been anything going on in the way of illness there would have been plenty posted about it. Especially since Mercury has been so ill. I can't wait to sail her again:)
Rare vickykay Posted March 18, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2010 Just off Summitt last Sat - great cruise! No illness at all. Enjoy!
greg_atlanta Posted March 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2010 No signs of it on March 6 sailing. No special precautions taken other than staff member with purell squirter at entrance of buffet (which was a mix of cafeteria style and self serve).
