BroncosFan2010 Posted March 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2010 Aruba will be fairly far into our B2B cruise, and DH and will probably be getting tired of ship buffet lunches. We are looking for an authentic place to eat lunch that is frequented by the locals and not too touristy. Any suggestions?
Aubiecruiser Posted April 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2010 My DW and I have always enjoyed having lunch at The Paddock. It's right across the street from the Crystal Casino and is quite good. Now, if you really want "off the beaten path", you can rent a car.. make that a jeep and find Boca Prins. Now that's a spot for off the beaten path food and drink. There's also Charlie's bar in San Nicholas very close to the oil refinery. Once in San Nicholas, just ask anyone and they can direct you to it. It is definetly different. Arubalisa Posted April 14, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2010 There are a number of "local" restaurants mentioned at http://bentpage.wordpress.com/category/aruba-general/aruba-local-flavor/ You need to go through the posts to find specifically the restaurants, but imo, it is probably something along the lines of what you are looking for...for example Brasas y Leñas, Aruba, DWI
