irwins0001 Posted March 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2010 Leaving soon and starting to pack! What is the dress in the main dinning room for men? Formal night and non-formal? Thanks!
Satincruz Posted March 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Hi, Here is the info from the web page: http://www.msccruisesusa.com/guidaallacrociera/default.asp?guida_id=9&page_id=397#msc129 This policy is not strictly-followed, though--they will allow you in to the dining room wearing almost anything that is "presentable". RMLincoln Posted March 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2010 I see that the Dress Code says "Cocktail Dresses" for women on formal nights. I usually wear slinky slacks with a sparkly or lacy top and a pashika or dressy duster. Are evening slacks OK? I really don't want to be out of place. I need to understand the MSC environment - this will be our first cruise on that line. Thanks for your help

Dress at dinner looked just like any other cruise to me.

irwins0001 Posted April 3, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Just back today...formal night dress seemed much more dressy then previously stated. Most men wore suits. At least 90% in a suit or sports coat.
