ellecruiser Posted March 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Can anyone recommend any non-alcoholic cocktails that RCI make? We tried and enjoyed non alcoholic pina coladas last year. Last year we cruised on Voyager of the seas and had a great time. We are cruising this summer on Independence of the seas - Can't wait :)
rummenroman Posted March 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2010 All of the frozen/blended drinks can come with or without the alcohol. I'm one for a good fruit flavored Margarita.
madforcruising Posted March 27, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Strawberry Daiquiry works with and without the alcohol.

tomko2 Posted March 27, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2010 I order a ChiChi which is probably the same as a Pina Colada.:o
bonnier Posted March 27, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2010 We enjoyed something called a Love Connection on our cruise recently. It had 3 layers: a mango layer, a strawberry layer and something else. You could have it with or without alcohol. They were served in a light up cup. Hobiecat01 Posted March 27, 2010 #8 Share Posted March 27, 2010 When last on the Liberty we loved the Mango Tango. A frozen concoction of mango and something else but the two together were fantastic! (And I'm not a frozen drink fan!) It had no alcohol when served, but the server would pour a generous amount of Castillian Rum over it if you wanted it. Several of our servers would come back and "refresh" our drinks with a bit more rum after a few minutes. Wow! What a cruise! I doubt we will see that again with the cost containments RCCL has. Retired LEO Posted March 27, 2010 #9 Share Posted March 27, 2010 It's hard to tell the difference in the frozen drinks...they don't put much alcohol in them to begin with! You just don't know how to go about it.

Cheryl H Posted March 28, 2010 #11 Share Posted March 28, 2010 I don't care for the alcohol either. I usually get the virgin strawberry dacquiries. One cruise they were offering a frozen pineapple drink that was really good. Wish I was on a ship enjoying one right this minute!
pcl_cruiser Posted March 28, 2010 #12 Share Posted March 28, 2010 I don't like alcohol at all! I have never been on RCCL yet (first time will be in June) but on other cruise lines I have had a virgin Miami Vice. It is half pina colada and half strawberry daquari...very yummy! Man I can't wait til June, I hope RCCL will do this one!
sandyy456 Posted March 28, 2010 #13 Share Posted March 28, 2010 It's hard to tell the difference in the frozen drinks...they don't put much alcohol in them to begin with! Maybe it depends on the bartenders. We cruised the Liberty earlier this month. Every drink we had on board was very strong. Drinks in the ports were much weaker. ellecruiser Posted March 28, 2010 Author #14 Share Posted March 28, 2010 :) Thanks for all of the replies. I'm going to write a list of your suggestions so I can remember them all. So exited, I think I might go and write my packing list :D
Cheryl H Posted March 28, 2010 #15 Share Posted March 28, 2010 You may not need a list. I think every day they have a drink of the day. I sort of remember that the drink of the day was usually a frozen one. I know I've heard of the Mango Tango lots. Have fun trying a new drink every day! I agree with the previous poster. A friend ordered a dacquiry for me once and it was strong!! I just took it back to the bartender and explained a friend ordered it for me, but that I only drink non-alcoholic. He said no problem and remade it for me. Enjoy your trip!
