Smoking on Explorer of the seas

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone knows what the smoking situation maybe like on the explorer of the seas? I know they say limited areas but was wondering if perhaps there maybe any bars or something that permit smoking, I have heard the Casino allows it but I am not much of a gambler anyways. Thanks in advance for your help in answering this.:)

Hey IC how about an Imp to go with that?

Another 'Burgher here, we're going on EX May 8. I know there is a cigar bar and you can smoke on your balcony, if you have one. I'm sorry but I do not know more than that, I gave up cigarettes 13 years ago, but still love a good cigar.

Yeah I'm born and raised in the Burgh still here hahah. I was just wondering how it was going to be on the smoking situation. Sounds good enough for me :) I don't have a balcony though we booked a trip with like 16 other people for a wedding so I did have a little choice on my room but I wanted to be close to everyone else so I got an inside stateroom, which is non smoking but i am fine with that no big deal, my cabin is at the front of the boat on the 7th level so I hope at least I am by an accessible place to smoke haha.

I do not believe that cigar smoking is allowed anytime in the Casino!! In fact on Formal Nights, you cannot even smoke cigarettes in there after 7:00 p.m. That stinks (no pun intended). I enjoy the casino, a cigarette and a drink later on in the evenings, but, I manage on Formal Nights. Also, I read somewhere on these boards NO MORE CIGAR SMOKING ON ANY BALCONY..."It just ain't right, I say".

Have a good cruise!

Just a couple bars permit smoking...most do not....

IIRC the 19th hole, except for the 2.5 hours it is used for the Diamond/D+ event, the chamber, and maybe 1 or 2 others...

i know the schooner, crown & kettle and i think weekend warrior are non smoking...

if you click one of the picasaweb links below, i have scanned a set of cruise compasses, and those list (on the last page of any day) the bars where you can smoke...
