Have to cancel used visa credits

Unfortuatly I am going to have to cancel our cruise, We used our next cruise and a 125,000. point free cabin credit. What i read is the credits are not refundable but does anyone know if we can change it to an open cruise date in the future? Should I have travel agent make the calls or should I call the crown and anchor people direct? Our final payment is dur in about a month.

the deadline to turn them in is 6 months after they are issued, but you don't have to cruise within 6 months, so hopefully they will allow you to reschedule

Although I have not tried it myself I was told by Crown and Anchor that if you keep the same booking number and change it to a future date the Visa credit will stay with the reservation. Good luck

I was told the points are just held for you they are not lost.

If you used a TA you gave up your ability to call RCL directly and talk to them about any issues. This is why it is better to keep control over your own reservations.

I agree with you on the cruise details but in this case the OPs can call the Crown and Anchor desk themselves to ask how the reward points work. I know because I've been there and done that.
