Had a great time with Baptist on the Cosol Tour last week- great sense of humor and an amazing driver!!!! Kept the stops coming, so nobody got car sick -even on the wet roads with lots of switchbacks. Food was great to try, always drinks available.

(not a beach tour or island in my oppinion...)

Happy to answer any questions.

Did you feel the time spent at the beach was adequate? And if you could do a private tour and extend the time at the beach by skipping either the waterfall or the volcano would you do that? Or is the tour great as is? Thank you.

The beach time was only about 45 min. (good enough since we didn't care for the beach). The resort on the this beach does not allow you to use the beach chairs, palapa's or even layout on the sand in front of their beach restaurant. (lots of security & will nicely ask you to move) They don't make you feel welcome... The snorkeling area is a very small. The water is not that light blue and the sand is not white, as say Antigua - just for comparison.

If you search goggle images, look for Jalouise Beach.

We took this tour for the island highlights, not for the beach and if that is what your looking for this is a great tour. :D

A lot of the people who went with Cosol tours rave about their drivers. I neglected to get our tour guide's name.

Does anybody know who this is? This picture was taken at the banana plantation.

On April 1, 2010, we are in complete agreement regarding the Jalouise Beach experience as part of the Corsol tour. We feel we were mislead since one of reasons we took this tour was for the beach experience. As

for the tour itself: the van were not properly air-conditioned and it was

rather unpleasant to say the very least. Certainly not the quality tour we

expected and paid for. Do not recommend this tour.

Jalousie Beach is beautiful and worth seeing, but if you are on a tour, you will be relegated to a small beach by the snorkelling area. It is a very rocky entrance- you need water shoes. There were not enough chairs available for everyone, but since many people snorkelled, there was enough room. We only stayed about an hour and ate lunch on the beach [the lunch was a very good, homecooked meal with local fare.

We did have access to bathrooms, shower and changing area.

We were here:

view of Pitons from beach:

The tour has lots of scenic places to visit, so there isn't much time at each stop. Personally, I'm not sure I'd want any extra time at Jalousie, unless you were a guest of the resort.

we were there in March and also had Baptist he was awesome. would highly rec. anyone to take the tour. the van was fine for us not hot. the beach stop was plently long enough. the day we were there the sand was blowing and it felt like you were getting sandblasted but problem solved - we just stayed in the water which was beautiful! we had no security tell us to move and we were right in front of the bar. again it was a perfect! day thanks Cosol and Baptist!!
