jacksonville transportation to/from hotel/port?

The specialty board for departures doesn't look very active, so thought i'd post here. For those of you that have departed from Jacksonville, what is the best way to get to port?

 

We are flying in the day before (only way to get there in time from west coast). Staying at Hyatt Riverwalk for the night, so need transportation from the airport to the hotel and then to port the next morning and then to the airport following the cruise.

 

Should we do Carnival transfers after the cruise to the airport? Are there taxis readily available?

 

A final consideration is that we have a 2 year old and are not planning to bring the car seat, so we have to either do buses (like Super Shuttle) or do a car service that has a car seat, etc. (We've done this on previous cruises and it's worked great - just not sure what's available in JAX)

The Hyatt has a very nice conceirge who *should* be able to help you out if you don't want to do the Carnival thing. We did the transfer and ended being put in a regular cab when the transportation company screwed everything up and tried to put a dozen people and their luggage in an 8 person van.

I used Luxury Transportation in Jxvl. They were very professional in their handling of my reservation with a confirmation email within minutes of phone call. The driver was courteous, friendly and on time. Very nice Town car. Added to a great cruise. Would recommend and will use them again.
