sanford5 Posted April 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2010 We are planning our 1st Canada/New England cruise. We've narrowed it down to two options: July on the Holland America Maasdam (Montreal to Boston) or September on the Carnival Glory (round trip out of New York). Your thoughts on which month for better weather may help us decide. Any other factors to consider (preferred ships, itinerary, etc.) would be welcome information as well. Thank you! maryann ns Posted April 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2010 July will probably be warmer (hot) and busier. September can be great. I would go by itinerary and price, etc.
trophy_23 Posted April 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2010 Our cruise last September was great weather wise (southbound Quebec City to Ft Lauderdale). Couldn't have really been much better 2 days of rain and fog in 14days.
jolivia Posted April 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2010 I'm taking the Maasdam in July... Montreal to Boston, hoping for warm weather, I understand the weather is not HOT, but manageable 70ish, Also the itinerary attracted me, It included Quebec. maryann ns Posted April 3, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Well for sure Quebec should not be missed. The weather may get up into the 80s, especially in Montreal. Then again the evenings can be cool.
