Liberty aft balcony cabins Verandah deck?

Does anyone have any comments about these cabins---they are on deck number 8. My only concern is that they are located under the Lido deck. Did anyone ever have any problems with the noise level from the upper deck?

We had an aft balcony on deck 8 on Liberty two years ago and this year we are doing a balcony on 8 but not an aft. We would not do an aft on 8 again but not because of noise from the lido area we really never heard anything. There is absolutely no shade on the aft balconies at least on 8 and no real breeze. It was just way too hot to use and we live in the desert and are used to the heat. I seemed no matter the time of day the balcony was in the full sun. The floor was even too hot to walk on in bare feet.

 

I will say we did get the most awesome sunset photos tho.

 

We did like that an aft balcony on 8 was so very convenient to run up and get coffee or a drink. It was also very very quiet back there.

 

There are pros and cons we just found we did not use the balcony due to the heat. Just our opinion.
