Good sale at Penneys now

Penneys is having a good "birthday" sale today. I bought two dresses and one coverup for the cruise. Dresses are kind of casual. One dress was $60 - I paid $24 before tax, one was $70 - I paid $20 (they discounted it because it didn't have a sweater with it - didn't even know they had one), and a coverup that was $34 and I paid$16. Total with tax is $65. It said that I saved $104 today.

 

I didn't need any more dresses but gad they were in petites and I liked them. LOL

I wish I was in petites lol. Do you have pics of your dresses? I'm interested to know what most people wear since this is our first cruise.

They don't carry many smaller sizes....unless you try and order them...too much trouble!

I was there earlier this evening and bought 14 tank tops for my DD (she lives in them in summer and uses them to layer in cooler weather) one tank for me (as I just got my JCP order in the mail today with a bunch more for me :D ) a pair of sun glasses, and 2 pair of flip flops for myself. I had a 15% off coupon for the survey ,the one that is always on the reciept , and the sale coupon $20.00 off 100.00 or more. I spent a total of $78.00 !!! YAY ME!

The tanks were on sale for 4.99 they are usually 12.00 and they are misses not kids!

I can take pictures of the dresses tomorrow. They are not dressy though. Easy to pack.

Yes I also got the additional $15 off for spending $75.

I was there last weekend and picked up a cocktail dress for $18 on clearance! I'm bringing it for one of the elegant nights on our next cruise...only problem is that it's red and now I need shoes...could use my black ones but would prefer a metallic :)
