A little more info about the canopy tours offered at Roatan....

This is an email from Canopy Tours (the one NCL uses)....I had asked if they were affiliated with the new tour...this is what I got....

Heather,

Good evening. NO, we are not affiliated with the other company in any

way nor owned by us at all. The other tour is a body challenge that

requires that you be very physically fit. The NCL ship does not arrive

until after you guys leave the beach [March 8th] so yes, there will be slots

avaiable. And yes the tour may be offered on board by your arrival

date. I suggest that you see your shore excursion desk once onboard to

see if the tour is offered through them and if not you can book the tour

to Tabyana and sign up for the canopy at the beach for a lesser rate

than a walk up rate. The walk up rate is $50.00 per person and this

does not include your transportation.

I think, after reading what they told me and knowing we'll be 45 mins from the boat, I'm going to run to the Tabyana Beach tour and chance getting on the NCL canopy tour...I get nervous the other place is not known enough yet.....and I dread the idea of driving 45 mins each way!!

 

Also, I've emailed Sandra (from tropicalrez.com) 2 more times and not heard anything...so that also helped me in my decision (not that you really cared what I was doing...haha...)
