Sharon2U Posted April 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2010 We always take a small cooler when cruising, can anyone see any problems with purchasing beer in Grand Cayman, then taking to 7 Mile Beach, rather than buying drinks on the beach? Rare crewsweeper Posted April 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2010 If you keep the beer in a cozie and don't flaunt it, you'll probably be okay so long as you enter the beaches via the public access. There is a Tortuga Liquor Stroe in the Shoppes at Royal Walter where many crusie ship tenders dock (and only a few muinutes walk from the other dock). They sell cold beer. TurtleTagger Posted April 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2010 As long as you are not using the facilities (chairs, palapas, etc...) and are on a section of public beach you can most certainly bring and consume your own food and beverages. One good spot is the Governor's Beach section of Seven Mile Beach. It is located next to the Westin and directly in front of the governor's house. Two other good spots are Smith Cove and the West Bay Public Beach. Both have restrooms/rinse showers and picnic tables.
