Viking River - China/Egypt

We are considering booking Sept. or Oct. 2011 for either China or Egypt. It looks the Emerald will be doing China by then.

 

We would appreciate any thoughts, ideasm comments, etc.

We haven't done Egypt but loved China. It was a fascinating tour and they look after you as if you are royalty.

We did the Nile on Avalon's Royal Lotus as part of a Globus tour and it was wonderful, terrific, incredible:) can't say enough good things about that trip.

We did the 17 day Viking China Cruise in September 2008. It was the best trip we have taken in 40 years of world travel. The thing that made it stand out most was the quality of the tour guides. Our ship had 5 guides and every group was convinced that their guide was the best. If you are the type of person who is really curious about a country's history, culture, politics, economy, and social norms, these are the kinds of informative folks you want leading your tour.
