no fuss travel Posted April 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2010 We haven't done Egypt but loved China. It was a fascinating tour and they look after you as if you are royalty.

zx3zx4 Posted May 11, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2010 We did the 17 day Viking China Cruise in September 2008. It was the best trip we have taken in 40 years of world travel. The thing that made it stand out most was the quality of the tour guides. Our ship had 5 guides and every group was convinced that their guide was the best. If you are the type of person who is really curious about a country's history, culture, politics, economy, and social norms, these are the kinds of informative folks you want leading your tour. merlot101 Posted May 13, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Viking was excellent in China. The guide was with us the entire time, even when we flew from town to town.
