4 AM arrival in Civitavecchia (Rome) - What time disembark?

We will be arriving at the Rome port at 4 a.m. We will be staying with friends after this cruise and want to know the latest time we can disembark. I'd like to give him a decent time to pick us up, like 7 or 8 a.m.

You should be fine with 8am. :)

I don't think it would be a problem to stay on the ship until 7 or 8am. In November we arrived in Civitavecchia early in the am, and, if I remember correctly, we were just asked to be out of our staterooms and go to our assigned lounge by 6 or 7. I wouldn't expect to have to disembark at 4.

 

Have a great time on your cruise and in Rome. Rome is a beautiful city.

Thank you for your responses. We are looking forward to this cruise. We specifically picked it because we get to see our friends at the end of it. We love Italy and go as often as possible.
