qm2lover Posted April 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2010 Can anyone tell me about free ice cream on Eclipse sailing from Southampton? Is there any? Would possibly be same arrangement as on Equinox last year? When would it be available? From where? How? - is it in a cone? a bowl? Many thanks
AlanAllyn Posted April 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2010 On the Equinox this winter, ice cream was available in the Oceanview cafe from 7am to 9:30pm daily. They had several flavors that changed from day to day and I think you could get them in a cone or a dish. It was free and very good -- made fresh on the ship. sportsmum Posted April 15, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2010 Does anyone know about the Solstice? Is the ice cream available at those times and free too? Thanks!!
Denny01 Posted April 15, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2010 Yes, Solstice is the same. And the ships have the Al Bacio & Gelatteria where they servce special coffees and pastries on one side of the room and Great Gelato's on the other! If it is, we had lunch there almost every sea day; and, we also were delighted with the sorbet. If it is not, then I suppose we missed out on the ice cream. It is in the opposite direction from the solarium, across from the pool area.
Eightydays Posted April 15, 2010 #9 Share Posted April 15, 2010 There is a charge for gelato, but not to worry, the regular ice cream is delicious.
