Book a guarantee, How late is too late ?

I booked an Inside guarantee for this next last minute cruise. I was wonder because I booked through a TA and not carnival itself..will I get an upsell call? If not when is the best time to SEE if an upgrade is available for the best possible price. Just curious as I never sailed carnival before and have always been upgraded for free without asking in the past.

 

I won't be miserable with any room as we spend little time in it, However if I can upgrade for a great price I would like to, Thanks for the help:)

Keep checking the prices and see if the price goes down and then make a decision on whether to upgrade or not. I would suspect you will get a cabin assigned in the next few days but that is not for sure. Hopefully if you do get one it will be a nice location/deck and be happy with it. If it is not to your liking check the prices constantly and maybe you will get a cheap upgrade.
