In Copenhagen for 72 Hours

Recommended Posts

We will be flying into Copenhagen in late August, three days before our Azamara Cruise on the Journey.

We are staying at the Hotel Bethel.

It looks like the 72 hours Copenhagen Card is a no-brainer.

Is it?

We will need to get to our hotel from the airport, and to the port from the hotel.

I think the cost of the card is around 80ish US for one.

We are not planning leaving the city, but we do have a small list of things to do.

We each have a couple museums we would like to see as well as some of the "have to see while in Copenhagen" spots on our list.

Is ala carte the way to go here, or will the costs add up, including restaurants, so we still should be getting the card?

Also, I was thinking about purchasing the card and having it mailed to us, is that a good idea?

Thanks in advance.

ZOOLANDER- We're booked at the Bethel for three nights also, just in May. Our CPH card arrived yesterday(it took a little over a week to get it). We'll activate it at the airport after we arrive just after noon and it'll be good right up until we get to the port. We felt it will give us the opportunity to pop in a see something we might be curious about that we probably wouldn't spend extra money on. It covers admission to most if not all of our points of interest, plus transportation. If nothing else, you can ride all day! It also comes with a nice litlle booklet with lots of information.

Thanks Pmat, will be ordering in the near future. Yes, I saw the little brochure online. Nice.

It would be great to hear from you on exactly how you get to the hotel from the airport and how you get to port from the hotel. It would reduce just a tad bit of stress on this end.

Thanks.
