Valor review april 2011 cruise

this was my first Carnival cruise.... we booked ship transportation too slow and you have to wait for the big bus to be full and one older gent puts ALL the luggage in himself... crazy...

the staterooms where fine with balcony for the three of us(balcony babes).. I brought my own dollar store hangers that worked great. hair dryers are bad you have to hold down the button to keep it on...

we did not see much of our cabin boy but the room was always made. I have to say I was so surprised with the wonderful food.. every meal was great... we went to Scarlett's one night and it was fab. the Valor is hard to walk all the way through..it gets chopped up so you have to go up a floor then down again for certain sections.

the pools are small and looked like they needed clean water(lots of kids)our shores exc. were fine and did it all independently. no problems with time on missing the ship but in Cozumel 2 people did that .. they kept calling their names after we left port.

entertainment was pretty good. the piano bar had this wonderful couple that sang so many great songs. the woman had a voice on her... was a pleasure to listen to. I would sail Valor again...

I like it!!! A review from the future! Now I know if the ship will be good this time next year, it will be good for me this year! :D :p ;)

Glad you enjoyed your cruise and happy they finally got rid of Larry in the piano bar. I believe the couple you referred to were on my cruise- usually singing in the atrium lobby or casino area - and they were fantastic!

Yes they were ... great singers.... it all seems like a dream now after you are a few days back and into the swing of things.. the memories are wonderful/pic too. we are having a reunion (all 6 of us girls) in May to look at the pictures and eat/drink and remember a great cruise...
