Athens bus & metro tickets

Hello, having never been to Athens (or any part of Greece) before, where do I purchase tickets for the X95 bus from the airport to Syntagma Square and the 3 Euro 24 hour metro pass? Should I purchase in advance of my trip or just get it when I arrive? Can I buy the 3 Euro metro pass at the same time and same place that I purchase the X95 bus ticket, presumably at the airport bus stop ticket booth?

There is a special ticket booth at the airport to get tickets for the X95 bus. It may sell other tickets, but I am not sure of that. They should be able to help you know where to get the pass if they don't sell it. The people at the information booth inside the airport were helpful too.

 

The bus is great by the way. If going from downtown, there is a ticket booth at Syntagma Square.
