We're New Diamond - couple easy ?s, please

Recommended Posts

They'll be easy for YOU to answer....I'm going cross-eyed trying to search / find on RCL or these boards! :) Thanks in advance!

We're new Diamonds on Royal; Elite on Celebrity, and shareholders. We have b2b on both lines in September, and trying to get my discounts in a row, and want to decide whether to use Shareholder or Balcony Discount on Royal.

1. We're in JS 7 night Royal Carib - what is the balcony discount?

2. What is balcony discount in non Junior Suite? or is there a difference?

3. Shareholder benefit - who has the formula for # of nights + $? shareholder benefit?

4. Who has the email address for requesting Shareholder benefit?

I have all of this at home...but not there now, and want to act, so I thank you for saving me some time! :)

Unfortunately you can no longer get both the Diamond and Shareholder benefits. We tried that in December. The Diamond discount is better than the shareholder credit.

Balcony discount for a 7 nighter is $200 (allocated as $100 per person I believe). It makes no difference whether you are in a regular balcony, a JS or any other suite.

Albert Ross says D200 = $200 that is the DIAMOND balcony discount, correct...and I thank you all for the clarification that regardless of kind of balcony, the discount is the same.

So on Royal if the Diamond balcony discount is $200, and the Shareholder for a 7nighter is $100....I'll be claiming the Diamond balcony discount for Rhapsody and

the Shareholder discount of $100 for Millennium (since Celeb doesn't have a balcony discount...)

(knew I couldn't combine on the same ship anymore :(

thanks for providing answers, and allowing me to think that through in front of you! :)

$200 Shareholder (for 10-13 nighter).....
