Sold Cabins

Does anyone know of any web site that lets you know what cabins are available and what ones are sold on each ship. Thanks

You'd have to have credentials as a TA to get into them. For example, buried way down at the bottom of the Celebrity web page is something called "Cruising Power". That's the TA site that would show actual inventory.

For our first trip we used Travelocity, and it pretty much showed you available cabins in each price class. One deck at a time, so you have to move around a bit. Just like booking an airline, you select the cruise you want, then look around. Lots of "upgrade to this class for $xx" so you can check other classes of rooms. No guarantee with this method you will see everything that is available. Possible that their web site can't see everything actually open.

Second cruise we are booking through an TA, and she looked up all the rooms for us (but we had an idea what was available first).

If you go on the Celebrity Web site, they will suggest a few available rooms. Near the top of that page you can type any room and it will tell you the status of each room. It may be cumbersome but you can get an idea of what's still available.

You can goto any online agency and put inyour cruise (make believe you want to buy a cruise-- you will only see 7-9 cabins available at any given time- that does not mean more are available. When look for availabilty you will have to change the number of quest at 2, 3 and 4 people per cabin as cabins are configured for that amount-- if you are looking for availabity on the whole ship-- when looking for 2 people you will only see cabins that are true doubles--you wont see the quad cabins.

To tell if a ship is almost sold out--you will see only 3 or 4 cabins available in any category.
