2 Nights in Honolulu Pre Cruise POA

Wondering if any one has rented a beach home or villa on beach not far from Port.

We are renting a townhouse for a week before our cruise. I would recommend that you look at Vacation Rental By Owner (www.vrbo.com) for a place.

When are you needing a place? I also booked a rental through vrbo for mid-May. It is in Kailua, which the owner tells me will be a 20 minute ride from the airport. We are looking forward to it. I can report back once I have stayed there. It is right on the ocean, but not on a swimmable beach. We are really looking forward to it. The only problem I see is that we won't be at the house enough to enjoy the beautiful view we will have. We have so much packed into our days while we are there.

 

One thing to be aware of for these rentals is most charge a cleaning fee. If you are only needing a place for two days, that ends up making the daily rate rather high.
