OBC question

How exactly does obtaining on board credit work? From the forum, I have basically grasped that.....when there is a price drop, the difference is placed as an OBC? Can you get OBC after you make your final payment?

I cruise 7/17 and the prices haven't dropped at all...they went higher.

Can someone please school this newbie!

Thanks!:p

You must book with the Early Saver program. If the price drops to less than you paid before the final pay date, your price drops. If the price drops after you are all paid up, you get On Board Credit for the difference. You have to be vigilant and send in the required claim form to receive your benefit.

Where can the claim form be found on Carnival site?

Scroll across specials, then down to Early Saver. There will be a link to the claim form, which you will have to fill out. It's also a good idea to cut/paste or attach a screen shot of where you saw the better price. You can do this yourself if you booked with CCL, if you used a TA they may have to do it for you.
