SaskMommy Posted April 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2010 We are taking the Western Caribbean cruise on Feb 19th. This whole time I've been thinking that it would be so hot and warm, but now I've been reading that it gets cold during that time? What kind of temperatures are we talking about during winter, and does it make the beaches a no-go for swimming?
dexddd Posted April 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2010 We took the Western last week in January 2009. The weather was warm (around 80 as I recall) pretty much all along and actually at the Mayan ruins was hot which made for a great swim in the ocean there. The only place we didn't spend a lot of time in the water was at Castaway Cay as it was only in the upper 60's and pretty windy that day. That said, weather changes! SaskMommy Posted April 30, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted April 30, 2010 Oh good. I gyess there's no way to know until we get there, but I was really worried it would be cold. All you can do is wait and see I suppose.
