150edmiston Posted April 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2010 hi, anyone been in an adjoining room? We have a suite booked and when looking at the deck plan, have been allocated one. Question is where the desk/settee/tv on wall is if there is a door there?? Thanks in advance
Marie-Claude Posted April 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2010 We had a connecting room on the Quest - not a suite, but a verandah stateroom. The door was in fact where the loveseat is - so, beside the bed, close to the patio door. Instead of a loveseat, we had a single couch (chair). We were a bit worried about noise, but in fact, we were pleasantly surprised. We heard absolutely no noise from the next cabin, and we prefer the layout with the single chair as it gave us more space to move around!! Hope this helps! surus Posted April 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2010 We booked an adjoining cabin inadvertantly last year on Oceania. I worried about it for months before the cruise. We did not hear a sound from them. I believe there was a loveseat in front of the door but that was on O so don't know if it will be that same on A.
