Alcohol purchase Portland, ME

Hi friends. I've googled this subject much and searched CC but cannot find the answer.

 

Is it possible to buy hard liquor while in the Portland, ME port? We will be there on Sunday from 7-7. I think I read hard liquor cannot be sold before 9 am (I believe) on Sunday. Are there ABC stores in Portland, near the cruise terminals? Location and hours. I just can't find anything on this subject. Please no flaming or judgement. I'm asking for people in my group. It is located on the same street (Commercial St.) as the cruise ship dock is. You are correct as to the time. The store is in walking distance from the dock.
