Which to Choose Sun or Dawn for a Teen

Hi All advise Needed Asap: My Daughter 15 & I with Grandparents are thinking of Going on a Cruise in Jan 2011 either on the Sun Princess or the Dawn Princess or even the Pacific Dawn which one do you think my Teen would like better . I have being reading some of the reviews I don't want to go on a cruise that is mostly over 60's as she will hate it .This will be our second cruise but not on these ships though. Thanks

Suggest you ask on the P&O Australia boards as all these ships are based out of Australia. Hopefully you will get some advice.

I would say they are the same. The number of teens is generally dependent on the length of the cruise and itinerary type.

I think they'd be pretty much the same. I've just been on the Sun Princess on a 2 nighter in the last school holidays and there were plenty of kids. In January you should be fine, guaranteed to be lots of teens.

We sailed the Sun and my children had a great time. They were 14 and 8. We've been on other cruises and they still talk about the one on the Sun Princess.

6 of one, half dozen of another. In otherwords, both ships are almost identical and what one offers, the other will also. So, whatever your choice ends up being, you have made the right decision. ;) Enjoy!

I would choose whichever ship is easiest to access and where they are going. Definitely choose the school holiday period to ensure some company for her.

At this time of the year you'll find the demographic distribution more even quite even. Generally speaking the time of year, destination and length of the cruise have an effect on demographics.
