Hi Jenn:) the buffet upstairs is will be open for lunch. You could also

check to see if the Aqua Spa Cafe is open.

On some cruises the aqua spa cafe and pool grill (burgers, hot dogs and several other items as well) have been open, including our most recent cruise, but on some past cruises they have not been open the first day.

 

Even if you head to the buffet be sure to take a tour around it before grabbing a tray. In addition to the main buffet stations there are usually a pizza station, salad bar, pasta bar, sandwich station, and at least one ethnic food station and often a couple serving Asian, Mexican and/or Indian foods. I believe on the ships that have it, the Bistro on 5 might be open as well.
