Transportation to Galveston from Bush Airport

We are a family of 4 looking to get from Houston airport ( Bush to galveston. I am surprised how expensive it is! 100pp round trip!! Does anyone know a cheaper way?

Is that $100 pp for a taxi? WOW! I would just purchase the transfers from Carnival and ride the bus to the port, and back.

We are arriving the day before so Royal caribbean does not offer transfers

Check previous threads including "Houston-Galveston transfer?" for lots of information including names and numbers for reliable companies. Can't believe that the $100pp cost is typical.

If that is $100 for all four, then that is a good price. If it is $100 per person, then that is not a good price.

 

I cost me more to go from Bush to Galveston then it did from LAX to Bush.

 

You can probably find a limo for the four of you for about $150 plus tip (about $45 each with the tip). It bit on the high side I realize, but it will be a thrill for the kids, especially if you keep it a secrete like I did.

Found $139 for 4 people. The "kids" are 23 not really excited about a limo, just looking for the least expensive means of transportation.
