Lens rental in ft. lauderdale?

I was looking through the forum and someone mentioned renting a lens, which could be a great idea for a cruise.

 

Does anyone know of a rental place in ft. lauderdale? There are always rentals over mail but i figured i could maybe save a few bucks in shipping if i can pick it up and drop it off.

First place I'd try is your local "pro" store, not Ritz or bestbuy or other chain store but local shop catering to photographers would be the first stop. If you can't find any then lensrental is a good place to check here: http://www.lensrentals.com/

Unfortunately the closest rental place from where I live is about 100 miles away. I have looked at camerarentals.com and it is always a possibility but I was hoping maybe someone has experience renting from a place in FLL to avoid shipping fees.

There are really not to many photography stores locally in Fort Lauderdale and none of the shops I know of rent any gear.
