foxesden1 Posted May 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2010 I know our TA can't do the insurance, because we live in the USA. Has anyone else done this? I am sure almost ANYONE will sell me insurance, but I want to make sure there is no loop hole, so that if I need it, they will not pay. Thanks! cherylandtk Posted May 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2010 IIRC, the policies are based on your residence, not your citizenship. So you would be buying a US policy, not a Canadian one. As long as your Canadian TA listed your address in the US, you are fine. Plenty of good third party policies out there. But they are quite different than Canadian policies, so if this is your first time buying one, read the fine print. ;)
