Are there tours that fill up quickly?

My ports in New England are Boston and Bar Harbor. I am just getting started on my research and have one question at this time. Are there any tours that fill up so quickly that you need to reserve months in advance? As an example, in Alaska, the 6-pack whale watching boats out of Juneau fill up very quickly and if you are not quick to reserve, you are out of luck. Anything like that in the ports I will be visiting?

 

I am going to start reading the older threads to get a feel for the tours available, but want to jump on any time-critical tours. Thanks

When is the cruise and what cruise line?

 

I can't think of any cruise excursion that would fill up quickly for Bar Harbor. BH is an easy town to tour and a lot can be done on your own.
