Legend, Cat 7A

Can anyone tell me how obstructed the 7A cabins are on the Legend. Can we not see down? or is the lifeboat the only thing you see when on the balcony? I've not sailed on any of the spirit class so asking the experts.

 

I'm not as concerned if I can't see straight down - just want to have some view.

I'm 95% sure that the life boats are BELOW your view, thus blocking your view down toward the water. Pretty sure you can see straight out without a problem.

Hi Lynn,

 

Cabin #'s 5142 - 5167 have the large tender boats which come up even with the balcony railing.

 

 

Cabin #'s 5168 - 5191 and 5224 - 5245 have the short lifeboats which come up even with the floor of the balcony, thus allowing you to see straight out to the water just not directly down.

The roof of the lifeboat is somewhat level with the balcony floor; therefore, while sitting on the balcony, you have an ocean view when looking straight ahead but an obstructed view when looking down.

The roof of the tender boat is somewhat level with the top of the balcony railing; therefore, while sitting on the balcony, the view is obstructed – if standing on the balcony, you have an ocean view when looking straight ahead but an obstructed view when looking down.

We had cabin 5230 on the Miracle and thought it was a great cabin for the price. We would definitely book the same type of cabin again. Here are a few pics of 5230.
