Chances of getting a dive or snorkeling while at Pointe Du Bout?

My husband likes to dive and I like to snorkel. If we were to take the ferry to the beaches near Pointe Du Bout, would it be very easy to hook up w/a dive or snorkel excursion through one of the beach hotels in the area? I read in a Fodors there are several dive and tour desks at the various hotels in the area. I'm not sure if you can just walk right up to them from the beach or what. Also I am assuming there are places to get lunch, etc., on the beach?Any help would be appreciated.

here are some diving clubs emails in pointe du bout :

E.P.M@wanadoo.fr Espace Plongée Martinique in Kalenda Resort hotel.

lycheeplongee@wanadoo.fr Lychee Plongée

planbleu@ais.mq Planète bleue

Try to send them an email to be sure you'll dive.

You don't need a car in Pointe du Bout and you'll find everything you want eat in a restaurant or have a drink.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Pomliane! I will pass this along to my DH. I know if we get over to that beach and he sees someone is offering dive excursions and we have time for him to fit it in, he will want to do it. Will we be right in front of the hotels while at the beach there and just be able to walk right up to them?
