Dolphin swim question- strong swimmer?

I'm trying to find out some info concerning the dolphin swim for a friend upcoming cruise.

She really wants to do this, but concern on if she needs to be a strong swimmer.

She can float and some basic skills, but a weak swimmer. Even with a life jacket, will the dolphin swim be doable?

If not, the dolphin encounter is the other option.

I did a Dolphin swim in the Bahamas, I am probably the worst swimmer around. I can doggie paddle, but that's about it. They made everyone wear a life jacket and there was very little actual swimming involved. What there was I was fine with.
