SKY Review - Short

I returned from my May 10th to May 15th Cruise on the Sky and have not had the chance to type a full review. This was my first cruise EVER and I enjoyed it completely. Some important notes are bulleted below, otherwise if you have any specific questions... ASK AWAY!

 

- New Cruise Director Rob Sugar

- Listen up everyone.. I LIKED THE FOOD. :) I ate at the Dining Rooms and Buffet.

- The shows were fun and the comedian was funny. I was upset I missed one show one night.

- I did the following excursions: Highlights, Shopping and Beaches (Freeport), Altantis Beach Break (Nassau), and I rented a floatiy thingy at Great Stirrup Cay. I enjoyed my excursions and would try new ones my next time, but it was my first time on those islands, so I think I would have enjoyed any excursion.

- The Balcony rooms are worth the money on this type of cruise. The privacy and views were wonderful each day. My favorite part was sitting on the balcony with my hair wrapped in a towel and wearing a robe watching the other cruisers on another ship looking at me on their balcony.

- Casino - I liked it, but I did well, so of course I like it!

 

I felt like there was too much to do and not enough time to do it all!

We felt the same way about things to do and not enough time, so we went back for another look:D. Glad your first cruise was a hit!

Sounds like you had a good time. Got the cruise bug yet? We were bitten after our first cruise and now we want to live on cruise ship.

Good to see you loved the MDR and buffet at the same time that NCL continues to put an emphasis on the multiple extra surcharge restaurants that take a large amount of real estate on their newer ships. It is positive to see a glowing review of the food you pay for before you board.
