Activities on NCL

Recommended Posts

Have sailed many times with RCCL, but have a cruise booked on the Epic. Generally speaking, are there acivities throughout the day like on RCCL. Examples...trivia, napkin folding, tours of bridge and backstage...etc. We have 3 days at sea, and I want to make sure there is enough to do. Hate sitting around relaxing. Really don't use the pool much. Evenings look great for entertainment.

The behind the scenes tour, which includes tour of the galley, backstage, enviormental areas, and crew mess hall is $50 PP and is scheduled on a port day.

Ye, they have trivia, napkin folding and that sort of thing which is complimentary

Not on all cruises. On our most recent cruise it was scheduled on a sea day.

I didn't know that! I would much prefer it to be on a sea day. I hate giving up any of our port time. So, when it is held on a sea day, due they actually take you to the bridge?

I am looking forward to the tour on the Epic. I am hoping that it is held on a sea day.

I was not aware that there was a charge for a tour of those areas. Thank you for telling me. I guess I will have to add that to the budget. I am very excited about this cruise, but am afraid there are a lot of extras to pay for. But, I just keep thinking that $20 for Cirque Dreams and free for Blue Man, is saving money from seeing these elsewhere. Also a little worried about freestyle dining as regular dining(same waiter and tablemates) is my favorite part of my other cruises. Wanted to try something different this time around. Will miss mini golf, but will enjoy bowling.
