Bet & Peg Posted May 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Has anyone taken a ship's tour of Kronborg Castle and Frederiksborg Castle? If you have, could you please tell us about your trip? About how much time did you spend at the each castle? Were there organized tours at each Castle or did you have time to wander on your own? Where did you stop for lunch? Did you feel the trip was good or travel time too much? We'll be in Copenhagen on July 13th during a Baltic Cruise on Celebrity's Constellation. We'd love to see the castles but have read about track work on some of the train lines. We fear we'll spend more time traveling than at the castles so we're thinking of the ship's tour. Thank You for any information you can share!!
Danish viking Posted May 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Its only on the first leg to Frederiksborg castle in Hillerød that you need to take a bus, the Øresund train from Helsingør (Kronborg Castle) to Copenhagen is not affected by the track repairs.
