For anyone with an ipad/iphone I just came across the mosting amazing app ($2.19) suitably titled "cruisecam" what an amazing little app - has links to all sorts of things from bridge cams to port cams (with a camera icon which allows you to capture that picture), cruiseship schedules, port schedules showing which ships are in port etc - as if I didn't have enough trouble with my addiction and focusing:rolleyes:!!!!!!!!!!! Joanne it even has your schedule up already!!! Unfortunately well worth the $2.19:D

Jane

ps even has an icon which plays the sound of a ships horn, or alternatively one for the sound of the sea!!

oh there she is... is someone controlling the webcam... I am not game to touch it... oh it moved

Joanne, if you want to practice controlling those cams, heres 2 to try.

At least they are in our time zone.

Both in Hobart. from Wrest Point Casino, and the Lenna Hotel.

They are great for when a cruise ship is in Hobart.

Wow what great shots. The 'cruisers' would love to see these on their return to add to their photo albums.

Arriving early has given everone a little longer to enjoy the local area or visit Paris. When we were there we took a cab from the ship to the station which is only actually about 6 minutes away by car, you can't walk within the wharf area. Then jumped the train into Paris for the day. Wonderful.....worth the effort, it's quite a journey so allow extra time to get back to the ship....just in case. It's about 180kms each way. The train is fast though. We arrived back with still a couple of hours before sailing.

Apparently the internet on board will be shut down for a few hours today as they are having trouble with it on board. Hopefully they can fix it so as to make it easier for our 'blogging' friends to access it.

Jillybean:)
