How far is Turtle Farm from Royal Palms or Sea Grapes Beach?

Hello! We'll be in Grand Cayman in September. We want to do the Turtle Farm in the morning, then head over to Royal Palms Beach for some beach time and lunch. Is this doable in one day? Our ship is in G.C. from 8am - 4pm. Does anyone know how far Royal Palms Beach is from the Turtle Farm? Or is there a beach that's closer to the Turtle Farm?

Any advice is much appreciated!

it is about a 10-15 ride. Seagrape/Public beach and Tiki Beach are the closest beaches to Boatswain's Turtle Farm (5-10 minutes) with full facilities .

Thanks for the info! Is there a restaurant on or near Sea Grape or Tiki Beach? We want to have authentic Cayman food while there. Or can you recommend a Cayman restaurant? Is there one near the port?

Thanks again!

In addition to already mentioned Cracked Conch and MacaBuca Bar (MB is a fav lunch spot), Tiki Beach has a restaurant and bar as does Seagrape beach (Calico Jacks).

Yeah, but if the OP is looking for "authentic Cayman food" the beach bars don't have much to offer...the menus at the 'big three' (Tiki, Sea Grape, Royal Palms) are mostly your standard burgers, fries, wraps, etc. and not very Caymanian...Cracked Conch has much better offerings in that regard...

Just responding to the restaurant question, not cuisine preference. Other options for "authentic Cayman" cuisine are the Tim Buc Tuu dinner just past the West Bay intersection or Alfresco's, just before. Both serve good food. Alfresco's is on the beach and has a few lounge chairs for patrons.

Thank you as well! Are these within a reasonable distance from the Turtle Farm as well? Or is the island not that big?

I appreciate your help!
