Upgrade across the hall on Glory??

Is it wishful thinking that we may get upgraded to an OV cabin from an inside? I keep checking the Carnival website and the room directly across the hall from us is still showing available. We have 2 weeks to go and we originally booked an inside guarantee.

Has this happened to anyone or is it luck of the draw??

Why don't you call and upgrade yourself? You'll be guaranteed to get it that way. I think your chances to be upgraded for free are pretty slim.

I hoped the same thing when I had a IS guarantee. No insides were even showing, all sold out ..but Carnival did 3 days of upsells and I wound up with a 4B.. dont count on it unless you pay for it.
