For those who know PHL (Domestic Flight)

Friend of the wife booked her a return flight to visit using her air-miles. Going down is non-stop, so no issues. Return has a stop-over in PHL. US Air, so the run from PHL on is on their Regional carrier (Republic??). Thing is, the stop-over time is 40 mins and she will have to change terminals from (I think) B/C to F. I see there is a shuttle bus... but.. is this enough time to make that connection?? Trip is in June, so can't really change it, just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to make this happen? Personally, I would never book a turnaround of 40 mins.... but she did.

40 minute layover in PHL.... Eeeeeeeeeek !!! I despise that airport and will avoid it at all costs. But on the positive side, they are notorious for flight delays regardless of weather, so that 40 minute layover could really be longer, but then again shorter if they are late arriving to the gate. Hope she isn't checking any bags for that originating flight cuz they probably won't make it to the next flight.

I certainly wouldn't be cutting it that close though at any airport.

Totally agree; I had four flights through PHL last year, and each one averaged a three+ hour delay. Maybe your wife will get lucky and have the same :).
